How did they NOT see that?
The moment I read there was a giant window there, I promptly facepalmed xD
Clearly the majority of decisions were made by CEOs (scum always floats to the top), accountants (as long as it sells, it doesn't matter if it works) and the art department ('nuff said).

I'll lay claim to stable 35, with the stable experiment being a variant of vault 36's experiment ("The food extruders were designed to produce only a thin, watery gruel."), instead, they produce just a nutrient-rich paste, and clean water. Probably going to nab stable 55 (no entertainment tapes), just in case.
I do things, sometimes. Maybe...
Planetside 2? Maybe.

A horrorfic? Set in the Equestrian Wasteland?

I'm not even sure if I want to know if it's possibly to create anything horrific enough to deserve that classification.

Well the horror is prewar. With Caramel as the lead. So erm More like a Villain backstory than anything else and a nice tropical view of everything.

It was to ensure that they be better able to survive the after effects of the bombs.

Though my background for the Stable isn’t complete yet, I imagine that it would have been one of the first to open. And that because it’s residents are more resistant to the magical radiation, they would have been the ones to clean up the wastes for the rest.

But, as I'm sure you could guess, there was a problem. One problem that wasn’t physiological was that the ponies of the stable began to think of themselves as superior to those of the wastes…
