Should stories be rated?

Should stories be rated?
I'm finishing up a story listing/search feature for the site and was wondering if it should have a filter for mature stories (like 20.5) like the media currently has? Any opinions?

Its Fo:E - they should ALL be rated for mature, so its kind of irrelevant to have any rating system. I set mine to mature on DA, even when they aren't shooting the crap out of each other, due to the general setting.

I think that they should be rated jsut for the sake of it. Actually i rated Pink Eyes as "Teen" but I think I'll raise the rating to mature, just to conform with the rest of the genre.
In the end FoE talks about Drug, Alcohol, Profanity, Murder, Depravation and Sex... and do't let me even start with what depravation means, because we are going from cannibalism to foal raping...
