Not what I Expected an MLP fan to look like... cool.
Before the End is the story of an officer during the last two years of the war against the zebras. The story follows his journey through the Battle for Shattered Hoof Ridge, Battle of Stalliongrad and into the unknown.
Image More art, but it is over 200pix high.

Sorry for the delay
Otherunicorn: That is an adorable equine.
the scale I use is ruffly this:
Image

As for the eye, I am not a doctor or an engineer so this is not hard boiled Scifi, but as close as I can make it. From the inside out there is a cap on his optic nerve, suspending the nerve in a bubble of healing potion to keep it from degrading or dieing and allowing magical signals. next is the eye its self, a 5 inch sphere of metal, plastic and magic circuitry that can convert magical recordings into something Ocher's brain can actually read. Next is the base plate, a sheet of metal that is wonder glued to Ocher's skull (other adhesives were not available) and has several anchor points that poke through his skin allowing for the outer casing. Then there is the casing, a 8 by 7 by 2 inch box (the toaster) that holds all the eye's support systems such as a capacitor, the heating coils (If the implant wasn't independently heated it would cause serious problems in Flankorage's climate) and the armored power cable that leads to his PipBuck. Finally there is the lens, its just a self illuminating lens with an adjustable aperture on a few motors that allow it to mimic the natural range of motion for an eyeball.

So... yeah, it is buck massive and not built from ideal materials :pipshrug: .

One thing you soon learn with real life miniature pones, which are more or less the size in the chart above, is that while they are not particularly tall, they are by no means truly small. When a person crouches down near them, their mass becomes evident.
There is a difference in how MLP grow to how real ponies do too. Ponies are born with 90% of their leg length, so their grown is in their bodies. As such, there are never babies like what the Cakes have. The pony in my arms is around 1 month old. He was under 17inches to the peak of his shoulder when born.

As for how the ocular implant work, I just go "it's magic, ain't gotta explain shit". xD
Mostly because magitech is a common thing in this universe, so it doesn't require much more. *shrug*

I'd agree with that. A lot of stuff makes more sense in FOE than it does in the Fallout games, with magic used as the explanation.

Hehe, true. In fact, I prefer Fo:E over the normal Fallout universe, simply because everything makes a lot more sense when magitech is emplyed.
